I originally started working with Oliver on The Usual Suspects at Soho. Not only is Oliver a fantastic shooter himself but manages and oversees an excellent team with Voena. Since then I have continued to work with Oliver/Voena on many other event/industry projects.

I worked with Oliver on numerous campaigns that were extremely successful and most importantly smoothly delivered on time. He demonstrated a high degree of organisation and his directions were clear and I was able to immediately action any task. Oliver is extremely enthusiastic about his work which is encouraging. I certainly would recommend him for any similar position.

I came on as a casual and quickly proved that I have a vast knowledge and understanding of video production and photography. Using this, I've set up studios of multiple sizes and configurations in Ecommerce, mainly in fast fashion and beauty, live streaming in both education and corporate, and quoted and provided a vast amount of commercial photographers with expertise in lighting, workflow, and various tools. As well this I've grown our 35mm film sales with which we now run a lab. Supplementary to all of this, I have also run monthly courses on light shaping and natural light, teaching the fundamentals of creating dynamic photos training various photographers and enthusiasts. My role with Georges is something I thoroughly enjoy due to its enormous scope and fast pace. Show less

As a commercial image maker I've worked with brands like Benefit Cosmetics, Tinder, Audi, and NRMA to produce and provide stills for campaigns both online, and in store. I've been very fortunate to have had opportunities to create a wide variety of commercial work, and am always looking for new ways to create and tell new stories. Sydney based creative agency with a predominant visual storytelling focus. Voena started as a pet project to allow photographers to create work for themselves and have a place to put their work. Very much an online editorial magazine with a focus on people, parties, and music. The website quickly grew, taking on work for ADIDAS, Smirnoff, MixMag, Vice, to name a few. I gained a scholarship to study Front End Web Development with General Assembly and a trip to NYC to a conference on Web Futures for our work. I also consulted in Shanghai for three months as content director for Fashion TV to help set up and position their operations to live stream and produce content of an international standard. I worked for Foxtel's music division as a digital producer, primarily focused on their youth audience with Channel [V] and [V] hits. Our solid social followings, 1 million on Facebook, and 15,000 on IG for [V], meant we had a large, actively engaged audience who loved music. We constantly looked for inspiration and ideas to keep them engaged, working with both [V]'s talented creative team and our own skilled in house production team who made daily shows. My role was to get that content in front of that audience. We did this first by looking at the complexity of reaching that content (it took more than three clicks) and building new sub-websites to host our main tv show, The Riff. As well as actively engaging through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with our audience, with weekly WIP's focused on looking at what was working. With [V] Hits, the audience didn't exist, so we looked at the most prominent artists that fit with our target demographic, at the time that being One Direction and used a mixture of competitions, posts, influencers, and community management to shoot this from 500 to 20,000 in three months, without sponsoring posts.
