In May 2011 I became the proud owner of some pieces of Tine de Ruysser’s banknote jewellery. (I opted for Euros and Tine used 18 banknotes of 5 Euro for a bracelet and a brooch made of 3 banknotes of 5 Euro.) Tine cleverly folds the banknotes and, if necessary, I could simply unfold my bracelet and use it to pay for my bills. Not that I’d ever do that – I am very pleased with my unusual accessories – but it makes you sit up and think about people wanting to exchange their unwanted, broken, mismatched or out-of style gold and silver. The pieces are very versatile; although I mostly where it as a separate bracelet and brooch, I can flatten out the bracelet and wear it together as a large brooch. If you are looking for unusual jewellery, I can whole-heartedly recommend Tine’s work. I have worn my pieces often and they still look as stunning as when I bought it over two years ago. And when not in use, I keep it in the quirky personalised linen bag Tine sent her work in.

Tine created my wonderful website, She worked on a free lance basis and helped organize me. Very professional, intelligent, hard working, trustworthy and would be a great asset to any company. Tine also makes her own fantastic jewellery and objects and is a great creative talent. It is a pleasure to have her work for me. Malcolm Morris

I built a new website for Malcolm Morris, inclusive an online shop. This involved taking good quality photographs, writing statements and product descriptions and developing the graphic design within the limits of an existing online system. I also streamlined the email system, calculated prices, introduced computer-written invoices, followed up on emails with customers and business contacts and occasionally helped with the production of jewellery. I worked as part of a team on a research project built on my MA collection. As a team we developed different approaches to the design of deploying origami structures. My own work was focused on the design of wearable pieces and the development and production of Folding Metallised Textiles. I worked as part of a team on a research project built on my MA collection.
