  Turning Green is a global student-led movement devoted to cultivating a healthy, just and thriving planet through education and advocacy around environmentally sustainable and socially responsible choices. We inform, inspire, and mobilize a global network of students to become visionary catalysts for sustainable change in their lives, school campuses, and local communities. Our key programs include: – The Conscious Kitchen: TCK is dedicated to a systemic transformation of school dining, the health and improved life outcomes for children, local food systems that support ecological agriculture and fair wages for farmers, and to a healthy and just future for our planet. TCK serves FLOSN (fresh, local, organic, seasonal, non-GMO) scratch-cooked breakfast and lunch to students within school budgets that exceed USDA nutritional standards. – Project Green Challenge: PGC is a global call to action for students to raise awareness about conscious living, informed consumption, and the collective impact of individual action. 30-days of environmentally themed challenges provide students with mentorship, advocacy, and leadership skills. – Conscious College Road Tour: An interactive, hands-on opportunity, the CCRT provides context, framework, encouragement and inspiration for students to rethink mindset, practice and actions and work together toward developing intentional and sustainable campuses.
