Scholarship Researcher - Scientific Initiation
-
Aug 2020 - Jul 2021
During this scientific initiation, I published and presented the paper referring to the project financed by CNPq at the IV2021 international congress:- "Visualization of trajectory-based queries in images databases" (IV2021).In this paper, the visualization of a new type of query is proposed to enable the extraction of data behavior over time through trajectory analysis. The virtual reality prototype produced in my previous scientific initiation was enhanced with new rendering options and interaction techniques for visualizing classified temporal image trajectories, and the proposed new trajectory-based query was implemented. The final prototype has all the features developed in my 2 scientific initiations and was named CBIRVis (Content-Based Image Retrieval Visualization).Tools used: C#, Java, Unity3D, Google CardBoard SDK, Git, BASH. Scholarship Researcher - Scientific Initiation
-
Aug 2019 - Jul 2020
During this scientific initiation I participated in 3 publications in 2 congresses:- "Visualization of similarity queries in an immersive virtual reality environment" (IV2020);- "Visualization of similarity queries with trajectory estimation in complex data" (IV2020);- "Visualization of Queries by Similarity in an Immersive Virtual Reality Environment" (CIC and CIDTI 2020-2021).- I presented all 3 publications. The first publication in IV2020 refers to the work financed by the CNPq scholarship. This published work won "The Best Paper Award" at the international congress. The main objective of this work is to avail the immersion of virtual reality technology and the low cost of the hardware to develop a virtual reality environment in a prototype for visualization of similarity queries of images. Thus, rendering options and techniques for interaction were proposed and implemented, and a 3D virtual reality environment was developed, which avails these options and proposed techniques to perform the visualization of similarity queries of images.Tools used: C#, Java, Unity3D, Google CardBoard SDK, Git, BASH.
