First impressions are important in my line of work and even before Nicole spoke a word I knew she was in the right position with The National D-Day Memorial Foundation. Her education credentials are beyond reproach and are more than adequate to help her move up in the organization. She is well engrained into the community and would be a valuable asset to any organization!

Nicole is a dependable and hard-working individual. She provides clear and creative communication internally and with customers. She is a real asset!

My job with the National D-Day Memorial began in Visitor Services focused on the areas of customer service, admission and tour sales, retail, volunteer recruitment and management, site operations, and special events. These job duties were performed at the Memorial site and Bedford Area Welcome Center. In 2013, my job moved to the Foundation/Administrative office located in Centertown Bedford where I took on a much more involved role with development and fundraising initiatives, marketing, and special event planning. Through the restructuring and management of corporate sponsorship opportunities, the program experienced a significant increase in both supporters and revenue. Expanded marketing efforts have resulted in increased event attendance, greater social media presence, and overall greater awareness of the Memorial. I am responsible for managing and executing the Memorial's two major fundraising events, which include the Armed Forces Day 5K and Fall Golf Classic. Both events have seen significant growth in both revenue and participation. Show less
