  I've worked as a freelance editor since I finished my BA film studies in Brunel University London on diverse projects like music videos and short films. In Paris I had a permanent contract with a production house Les Productions du Désert mostly specialising in corporate video for clients such as Heineken, Banque de France and Starbucks. My musical background definitely influences my editing in terms of sense of the form, timing and rhythm.   Photography always intrigued me as a form of art, where the notion of timeline does not exist, unlike music, film, or even literature. I started to photograph out of passion to observe passers-by, so my thing was street photography. During my bachelors in London I started to photograph every event I was attending, most of the times they were organised by the School of Arts, therefore featuring various performances. Soon enough I started to get payed gigs as an event photographer and got to practice my portrait photography skills doing portfolios for actors.   DesertProd is a small production company focusing on commercials, corporate videos, and web series. Starting out as a post-production assistant, I ended up as a main editor and workflow supervisor, working for Inès de La Fressange, L'Oreal, and UPSA.During the three years of work experience at the production house, I learned valuable skills, applied in different steps of audiovisual production:Creating concept proposals for clientstaking notes during the brainstorming sessions with other creatives, drafting project proposals, and using in-design to create graphic presentations, moodboards and storyboards.In-depth knowledge of professional digital cinema cameras and professional lighting equipmentSony SF7, Sony F5, Sony Venice, tungsten, HMI and LED lights, various light modifiers, and support systems.In-depth knowledge of Adobe SuiteI learned advanced techniques of video editing in Premiere Pro; animation, motion design, and compositing in After Effects; photograph retouching, and 2D graphics preparation for animation in Photoshop.Colour grading in Davinci ResolveWhen supervising the post-production workflow on big-scale projects, I had a chance to observe professional colourists grading, which enhanced my knowledge of Davinci Resolve software and enabled me to do the colour grading on further projects myself.
