Support for over 20 different brands COVID-19 RDT Kits including Antigen (Ag), Non-Neutralizing Antibodies (IgG/IgM) and Neutralizing Antibody (NAb) Tests. The design mission was to build a Class 1 Non-Invasive Multi-Vendor, Multi-Test, high volume, high reliability Reader that could be deployed rapidly into Clinical or Non-Clinical environments, results in under 15 minutes with minimal handling and machine readable to avoid human error due to eye fatigue and poor lighting. The architecture allows for auto calibration and configuration of 1000's of current and potential RDT Kits for not only COVID-19 but also other pathogens and biomarkers in not just humans but also animals and substances in the environment, with built-in ambient, IR and UV controlled lighting using a highly sophisticated and patent pending process to avoid human errors that are inherent in both Lateral Flow and PCR Testing. The UV lighting can be used to sterilize the removable and replaceable test tray. Unlike other Lateral Flow Assay Readers we have the ability to provide both qualitative and quantitative data. I was a consultant architecting the overall cloud connectivity and designing the actual hardware in collaboration with domain knowledge experts on virology, parasitism, and production of biologics, reagents, and vaccines. My mission there was to develop a next generation of geolocation tracked, and cloud connected, PCR testing machines for monitoring of diseases in land and sea farmed animals. Developed a protected reagent dispensing mechanism to avoid sample cross contamination, which is a huge problem in PCR testing, especially as the goal was to move PCR testing out of the lab and into the farms. Design for simplification of use, with the target of being able to use non laboratory personally as operators. Working closely with key customer accounts on solutions for present and emerging diseases, and got to spend a lot of time learning hardcore science and biology from world famous researchers from arond the world in developing countermeasures for pathogens. Worked with the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science do develop the hardware and equipment used to research using Ultraviolet Light of specific wavelengths to introduce replication incompetency of pathogens during various stages of their life cycle. Developed the core IP and invented the computer and artificial intelligence (AI), visual tracking and analysis systems part of an important patent filed together with a team of scientists from Norway and Taiwan to track development and disease based on growth trends and behaviour in individual animals but observed in flock setting by continuously analyzing one or more video streams. Patent issued as “NON-INVASIVE MULTIMODAL BIOMETRICAL IDENTIFICATION OF ANIMALS” International Publication Number: WO 2015/176637 Al Filed on: 26 November 2015 Show less
