Based inside the Westfield Shopping Centre, it's the ideal spot for retail therapy or whizzing into central London. Based inside the Westfield Shopping Centre, it's the ideal spot for retail therapy or whizzing into central London. In 12 months, I managed to transform a team that were one of the least engaged in our region. By implementing a clear talent plan and working closely with my management team, we incorporated training sessions, meetings, held reviews, discussed succession planning and conducted strategic recruitment days to bring about huge changes to the culture and behaviour of the team. This helped create a hugely positive, engaged, motivated team, which in turn, helped deliver a much improved experience for our guests. An 18% increase in our engagement survey and 5% increase in guest measures year on year, shows how the team now understand the importance of their roles and how they can work towards achieving all targets for the hotel, through working towards clear objectives. Successfully managed a large group of 300 athletes for the World Athletics and World Para Athletics Championships, delivering breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Delivered training workshops for Head Chefs across the region. Worked closely with Westfield Shopping Centre management. Improved relationships and confidence with key accounts, especially BT Sports.
