Steve Yellowley MSc

During my time with Mitie Total Security Management (TSM) in the role of Strategic Development Manager, I embarked on a Mitie Security Management Diploma course. A classroom and distant learning programme verified and certificated learning by Middlesex University. Several tutorials I attended were delivered by Steve Unwin, Mitie’s appointed Risk Advisor. Steve delivered a first class programme, incorporating ‘realistic and true’ accounts of operational risk and the methods of mitigating risk. Certificate in hand, I often referred to Steve’s examples, applying them in my new role with The Protector Group as the appointed Commercial Director. The experience gained from Steve’s extensive knowledge has proven to be very valuable and I would highly recommend his services. Steve Yellowley

I have worked with Steve since his beginning with Mitie in 2008 when he was given the task of establishing the security risk process as a proof of concept idea. His determination and professional dedication ensured it developed into a much in demand service throughout the business. We worked quite closely on a number of projects including a national high street retailer full CCTV capability review and an international Facilities Management organisations property portfolio review to ensure that they were indeed still leading the market in their own security provision. Steve is quite modest about the part he plays and the value that he delivers, however after I attended his security risk management course, which was delivered to an internal banking organisation’s security staff I became aware of just how knowledgeable and totally professional Steve is and I would commend his services and expertise without hesitation.
