Poma was second in the country in hitting with a .430 batting average, fifth in hits with 102, first in doubles and first in doubles per game. - Improved the Bullpen to a respectable 13 Saves. - In first year with Hofstra, helped guide the team to a school record 34 Wins, and to their first CAA Conference Tournament1 since 2005. Also, secured the #2 seed and a first round bye in the CAA Conference Tournament - Coached Hofstra to a .334 batting average, good for third in the nation, 157 stolen bases, second in the nation, and first in the nation in stolen bases per game with 2.80. - The pitching staff broke the school single season records for ERA with 5.37 and strikeouts with 349.
