I had the opportunity to work with Antonio when I was CFO in Intesa company reporting to him as GM and previously to develop outsourcing offers to customer in IBM. I continuosly witnessed his deep knowledge of the business (both in terms of market dynamics and relationship with customer) and his capability to organize teams and operations, with a clear view of direction to follow, with a focus both on long term view and short term results. I appreciated his delegation style and possibility to contribute each team based on functional skills. His broad view of market and particularly of related high growing business areas allowed him to reshape the company in order to catch new opportunities and to consolidate top ranking position of the company in the market; this meant changing organization and operations acting on people motivation and processes. He always ensured good internal climate and encouraged managerial teamwork across different functions, focusing also on clear communication to all employees.
