We developed our MVP and tested the product in the market, then we noticed a change in the market and pivoted the product to agency and marketplace. We had a solid product with a good customer base, but we burned cash for a long time, so we closed it in 2021. We learned a lot in this process. We realize that a solid foundation and management are vital for the company's resilience at this beginning. Making decisions and discussing strategies is ok, but we must choose our battles, target the result, measure successes, detect problems earlier and correct the route as soon as possible. Show less

As a software house, we had some internal structure problems in the company, which received many projects, but had little time to deal with this information volume. The backlog management was barely made and the development process was rudimentary. I used my knowledge of agile development acquired during the scrum implementation on my old company to bring some improvements. We implemented retrospectives, daily meetings, started to measure and improve the development process, including XP tools. When I left the company, we had structured multi-disciplinary teams for each software customer. We became data driven and the result was shown in the kind of client we received, instead of complex closed-scope projects with WordPress, we started to receive larger projects of custom software with open scope.
