      During the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Voices of the Future (APEC VOF) programme, I met other youth delegates representing various economies such as Taiwan, Mexico, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Philippines, etc. Through our sharings, I got to provide insights to issues that I felt passionate about and also got to listen to other youth delegates and the inspiring work they have done in their community. In our interactions, I got to learn more about their country & cultures too! I had the rare privilege to join 13 other youths, each representing their own economy, to come up with a Youth Declaration. This Youth Declaration was then presented to Thailand Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha, who then handed it over to other world leaders that attended this year’s APEC CEO Summit. This Youth Declaration outlined our expectations and visions we hope to see in the near future as we come face to face with new challenges. Show less
