I was impressed by Elizabeth during the time we were colleagues. She worked conscientiously, asking intelligent questions, and ensuring that all tasks were completed promptly. It was clear that she was working at a level higher than her peers. All of my interactions with her were incredibly positive. I'm certain she will be an asset to any future employer.

Elizabeth worked for Elsevier as my Editorial Assistant for 2 years. In that time, she proved herself an invaluable asset to me, to the products I manage and to the organization overall. Elizabeth is extremely meticulous and quickly straightened out several administrative-related issues within weeks of her start date; from that point on, I never had to ask if certain tasks were completed. They always were, and in fact Elizabeth often had moved on to the next steps, showing initiative and problem-solving skills far beyond her job level. She dealt with challenging colleagues, authors and vendors with grace and professionalism. By the time Elizabeth left Elsevier, she had fully assumed responsibility for an entire product line, including researching new editions of books, assisting me with proposal writing and developing manuscript for production. This ability and initiative is rare in the Editorial Assistant position, and Elizabeth excelled at her new duties. Projects were submitted on time, per specification, and she handled problems quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Elizabeth; she is very talented and will be an asset to any organization that hires her.
