Sam was willing to have discussions and offer insights that helped me perform my job to higher standard. Sam made me feel like a valued member of the workplace. Presbyterian Ladies' College caters for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. My responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Strategic and Business Leadership - Governance - Risk Management - Financial Management - Administration - Facilities Management - Property Development - Project Management - Contract Management - Insurance Programme Key Achievements • Established and implemented financial disciplines for achieving minimum EBIDA and Net Cash Surplus targets in order to eliminate $10m debt, and remain debt-free, which provided the platform to fund capital projects ($40m+) and strategic planning initiatives for over a decade. • Established, designed and achieved Board approval to implement an enterprise risk management framework that reduced the overall risk matrix footprint and satisfied organisational risk appetite, without compromising growth or strategic initiatives. • Project managed major property developments (demolition to interior design) to a value in excess of $40m, on-time and on-budget. • Instrumental in identifying the opportunity and developing a submission to secure valuable adjacent land protecting PLC from the negative impacts of a proposed property development, enabled construction of a purpose built-facility and provided long term security of use. • Built, developed and upskilled a Corporate Services Team capable of delivering strong outcomes autonomously. • Initiated and lead a consortium of nine (9) schools, including liaison with legal counsel, leveraging value for large tenders by producing a standard contracts resulting resulting in significant cost savings, ongoing efficiencies and encouraging future collaborations. • Achieving year on year savings and productivity improvements of $200k from change management, maintenance and utility contracts.
