As a Summer Residence worker I undertook reception work, delivering fast and informative customer service to international residents about maintenance of their rooms, registration of post and the location of local amenities such as supermarkets, bars and the location of university buildings. My ability to undertake tasks unsupervised flourished as the role consisted of a large amount of independent manual handling of bed linen, cleaning resources and rubbish removal.

Nurturing Talent Mentoring Scheme - Mentee - PWC (University of Leeds)

The Nurturing Talent Scheme paired a recent graduate from accountancy firm PWC one of the 'Big Four' management firms to myself and acted as a mentor throughout the duration of my second year of my degree. I gained (and still am gaining) personalised tips and advice on achieving personal academic and employability goals with the ultimate aim of improving my interpersonal skills base. Consulting You Leader

As the Consulting You - Enactus 2017 Leader I am currently investing my time in overseeing the smooth delivery and organisation of a voluntary student based consultancy service offered to local businesses in and around the Leeds area. The aim of the project is to achieve targets or objectives clearly defined by the owner, whilst also exposing students from all degree backgrounds to real current business challenges; this project creates a sense of purpose and community between students and businesses. I have developed proficiency in time management, fast and effective communication to a range of stakeholders (such as business owners to university committee representatives) whilst understanding the benefits of collaboration between multiple organisations. Events Manager - Bright Futures Leeds

As Events Manager for Bright Futures, I was responsible for organising room arrangements and the promotion of on campus employer events for society members. I took responsibility for liaising with potential graduate employers from the start to the end of events, gaining feedback from students on how to improve the advertising and content of every presentation that employer's carried out. Further to this I was responsible for arranging the events food and drinks whilst managing the Facebook and email accounts associated with contacting such employers. Successful examples included HSBC, DHL and Deloitte representatives visiting the university, with an average of 40 students attending each event. Show less
