It is my job to build a district-wide understanding of available interventions and serve as a link between the four support structures: Instructional Facilitators, Instructional Technology Coordinators, Exceptional Children Specialists, and RtI Liaisons by: • Providing demonstrations or collaborative lessons for teachers utilizing differentiation techniques and curriculum-based measures. • Coordinating universal screenings and implement academic and behavioral interventions. • Coordinating data collection and analysis of individual assessments for students in the RtI process. • Creating and disseminating data to build district level personnel. • Conducting professional development sessions and providing individual coaching regarding universal screening data, progress monitoring data, other curriculum-based measures, and implementing the RtI process. • Providing strategies and support in the selection, development, and implementation of interventions at school and individual student levels - based on specific skill deficit areas. • Providing project direction as a member of the COMPASS Grants Management Team. • Facilitating the alignment of four structures in the cooperative development and delivery of teacher support and services. • Developing an integrated model which supports the alignment of the four structures and facilitate the implementation across the district. • Working closely with the Project Director to develop the capacity of Response Teams in each school to provide best practice interventions appropriate for diverse student populations. • Coordinating a professional learning community consisting of the four support structures and ensure that they meet on a regular basis for professional and personal development. • Attending regional and national conferences on best practices to build internal capacity to implement key evidence-based intervention strategies.
