The projects got larger as did the responsibilities and commercial pressures, working with a fantastic team of highly talented Designers, Engineers, Project Managers and Commercial Directors.Budget allocation was very different at BT, so we had to pitch for our budget requirements, but were also measured on our contribution to other business case from other areas. I was honored to be selected for the exclusive High Achiever Program BT.I also setup two teams to deliver business improvement initiatives, also known the famous BT Challenge Cup. One of the ideas and my selected team succeeded to the quarter final round and everyone was rewarded for their efforts and the contribution/savings delivered to the business. Upon completion of the initiative would return a several million pound saving year on year for one area of BT's business and could return ten's of millions when rolled across all business areas.
