As an attorney, I focus on commercial real estate projects that impact economic development. I enjoy all aspects from strategic planning to permitting, zoning, land use to securing financial incentives. I relish the challenges of getting a project approved and successfully guiding it through various city, state and federal administrations and regulatory processes. Over the years, I’ve gained a reputation of getting things done while managing expectations of and between business, civic and community stakeholders. I primarily work with and represent small to large developers as they plan and develop major projects in the greater metropolitan New Orleans areas. Projects include large hotels, major condominium structures, shopping centers, convention centers and land use that support economic development. I understand the process and the people involved. I know what can be done and how to get it done. As the partner who manages the New Orleans office, I’ve led the firm’s efforts with some of the largest commercial real estate development projects in New Orleans. From 1,000 room hotel developments to large shopping centers to $200M of new construction and renovation at the airport regulatory matters.
