  Lírio Cão had established themselves as influential with their trademark "Research Rock", swaying between simple rock anthems and long spaning progressive landscapes with echoing portuguese voices, demonstrating their work in records and shows all over the country. Their sound was once described as a big wall of sound built by the thunderous guitars of Zé Leão, the weird, multi-effects lows and highs from Luís Carneiro's bass and the secure, syncopated heavy drums from Tiago Faria.
