Santi's Group (CS-Green). “Shadow lab training" in the preparation and spectroscopic characterization of molecules, macromolecules and probes for the bioorganic mechanisms' elucidation in the field of Early Phase Drug Discovery. Research is mainly focused on the chemistry of organoselenium derivatives. In particular, different ebselen-like compounds were prepared and major focus was put on the interaction between these derivatives and endogenous thiols, such as glutathione, reproduced under physiological conditions (pH = 7.4). Use of NMR investigations (1H, 13C, 77Se). Show less

Funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS, MŠMT in Czech). Imramovský Research Group. Synthesis of potential proteasome inhibitors based on salicylic amides – peptidic scaffold. Novel terminal warheads were prepared. 2-keto-1,3,4-oxadiazoles and α-keto amides-based peptides were chosen and their synthesis was performed.
