  I was working as a student researcher at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Pharmacy, University of Basel, Switzerland. My work was focused on the synthesis of ligands/antagonists of Collectin-11, which plays an important role in the innate immune defence against microorganisms. It belongs to the family of C-type lectin receptors. Its role is very interesting in Ischaemia-reperfusion injury (kidneys).   I was working as a student researcher on a research project at the chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry on the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana and on Jožef Stefan Institute, Laboratory of Biophysics. We monitored one of fluorescent probes and its intenalization into Dendritic cells which express DC-SIGN receptors and other MBL (mannose binding lectins). Fluorescence spectrometer, Fluorescence microscope (FMS) and Flow cytometry were the most used instruments. I was working as a student researcher on a research project at the chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry on the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana and on Jožef Stefan Institute, Laboratory of Biophysics.
