Founder of "Flight Experience Hong Kong", a not-for-profit event for the general public to experience the state of the art Level D Airbus A320, A330 & A350 flight simulators and flight training devices, normally reserved for professional pilot training and licensing. We use the simulator sessions to educate and inspire youths to become tomorrow leaders and future aviators. Together with a team of volunteers, we have inspired over 2000 participants, from 32 different nationalities, age between 4 to 75 years old, people from all walks of life. Working alongside the wider Mayoral Team (Sir Charles Allen CBE, Dame Tessa Jowell, Lord Tony Hall, Duncan Goodhew MBE) in both the Olympic and Paralympic Village, we were principally the ceremonial figureheads of the Village for all guests (athletes, support teams and VVIPs including royalty and Heads of State/Government). Our role included conducting and the initial welcoming ceremonies for each Olympic team, Hosting VVIPs and other guests and Press Relations on behalf of the Village. Olympic Truce Ambassador

On 16 August UNA Westminster held a remarkable and historic event on the UN Olympic Truce in Central Hall Westminster, the venue for the inaugural meeting of the UN General Assembly in 1946. The event recognised an initiative by London's diplomatic community to re-affirm their support for the UK's resolution to promote the Olympic Truce, which was co-sponsored unanimously by UN Member States in October 2011. Attended by representatives from more than fifty embassies, UNA-UK members and members of the NGO community, the event witnessed the presentation of a unique collection of letters of support for the Olympic Truce written by ninety Heads of Missions to London, led by HE Mr Khaled Al-Duwaisan GCVO, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, to UNA-UK's Executive Director, Phil Mulligan. After contributing to the Chinese Youth radio programme on numerous occasions, I spent some time understanding the 'other side of the glass' of broadcasting a radio programme as a producer / presenter. The role required a firm grip on current affairs and then the ability to contact and recruit news-makers from around the world to contribute to the programme within a set time frame. Interviewing celebrities, politicians and inviting leading academics to contribute to topical debates on the hour long programme. Research and published a white paper on: • Increase young people’s participation in politics and promote active citizenship; • Led a consultation on whether the voting age should be lowered to 16; • Reflecting the communication preferences of young people; • Defining what citizenship means to young people.
