Bio
Daniel P. Kowalik
We worked together for 2 years and it was a pleasure to work with Steve. He is without a doubt one of the best in his field. One time really stands out for me, the engineering team and I realized that we forgot to communicate to our intellectual property team that we would be traveling to our customer that next morning and presenting to the customer new technologies we had recently developed. We called Steve at 4pm the evening before the meeting and shared this news with him. He quickly pulled together all the information and by 8:30 am the next morning he had everything in place and we were able to share all the information with the customer. His technical knowledge helped us rapidly lock down intellectual property, minimize expenses and improve customer relations as we were not slowing down any projects due to intellectual property related delays. He is very responsible and detail-oriented, qualities that make him stand out. In all my 20 years within the engineering aerospace engineering industry I have never worked with an intellectual patent attorney as knowledgeable and efficient as Steve.
Brad DeCook
I worked with Steve while he was the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at ITT Inc. Steve was instrumental in helping us develop our Patent Strategy for our ITT Goulds Pumps R&D group. Steve brought much enthusiasm and knowledge to the table which helped us develop our growing Patent Portfolio. Steve is a true team player and was always open to new ideas and technologies. Steve possesses good technical skills which made it easy for us to discuss cutting edge technology and potential IP. It was a pleasure working with Steve.
