  I have performed my master thesis in the herpesvirus pathogenesis laboratory at Instituto de Medicina Molecular. In a quick note, my objective was to understand the importance of a internal part of an important protein in the latency of Kaposi's Sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (Human herpesvirus 8). The objective was to do so by using animal models, because there are no in vivo models to study human herpesvirus. I've constructed chimeric human/mouse viruses and infected animal models to draw conclusions for my thesis. Show less
