Joining the team in May of 2020, I started as a research writer and graphic designer. This meant that I was assigned topics that I was then to research, simplify, and write a script that then was picked up by a designer to become a graphic or short video. As a writer, I learned how to draft, edit, and finalize various types of content. After holding these roles for a short time, I was promoted to Head of Social Engagement. Specifically, I worked under the Governor's Digital Strategist, helping them source and write content for social media accounts of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and First Gentleman. A team of lawyers, law students, and undergraduates, all work alongside one another to narrow down cases of incarcerated individuals who are believed to be innocent. We receive hundreds of letters each month, I was working to update our database with relevant and new information regarding individuals in the Colorado Prison system and their process in getting exonerated. Design Internship

Working together with other students and CU Boulder faculty, we planned for months what type of children's books we would 3D print. Following months of preparation, we began the process of printing and assembly. This Non-Profit created 3D printed children's books to help blind or visually impaired children learn to read braille with familiar stories!
