Julia is just fantastic. She takes a brief and challenges it and exhausts it to make sure she gets the right answer. She’s a hard worker but a great laugh too. If only more creative departments had more people like her. They’d be a lot richer for it.

Julia is a rare talent, combining excellent creative and technical skills with a genuine fascination for people and the way they think, move, talk and feel. At times, she has a terrier-like quality which means that she will simply not let go until an idea is fully explored and delivered in the most striking and memorable way. She has the kind of broad and encompassing view of our industry which will ultimately help to change and improve the industry itself. I can't really give a higher recommendation than that.

An integrated, senior role developing campaigns for the likes of Virgin Media, Virgin Atlantic, Parker Pens, and Pride. Together with Poulami Chakraborty, I lead and won all four pitches we worked on. We convince people. To click that button. To watch that film. To buy that thing. It started as Facebook group. A gang of young creatives hoping to make adland a friendlier and more open place for new recruits. We sent out advice and weekly scores of inspiration, run portfolio nights and workshops. It was a huge, exciting learning curve. And grew bigger and achieved more than we ever imagined. We've stepped down now as it's in younger hands. But check them out here http://www.youngcreativecouncil.com It started as Facebook group. An educational initiative that brought WWII to life through Twitter. Four 'Londoners' tweet live from 1943 sharing thoughts, photos, videos and news. Based on real people and real events. It accurately recreated 3 weeks in 1943, using bombing records, diaries, archival material, old newspapers and interviews. It was supported by resource contribution from London Fire Brigade Museum, Greenwich Heritage Centre, Imperial War Museum and various personal photographs and collections. Used in schools across the world, recognised by the Department of Education for its innovation, and winner of a Shorty Award. Show less
