Shashank is an incredibly talented person, a very mature and seasoned professional, and a great mentor to have. What has really stood out for me was how approachable and empathetic he is towards his teammates. During our days at Flipkart, we would pick up topics of mutual interest and continue to brainstorm for lengths. He is always inquisitive and brimming with new ideas to flush out, and you can always count on him to ask the right questions, even the hard ones. We have worked on some projects together, where he was spectacularly leading the show. He brought solid clarity to the discussion and overall vision while keeping the team motivated to churn out some great ideas. It has been a great learning experience to have worked with him. Aside from his core duties, Shashank has always been a step ahead of others and has taken initiatives to bolster the Indian design community like never before, with initiatives like "Indians Who Design". He'd be a valuable asset to whichever team he joins, and it'd be a privilege for me to work with him in the future.

Shashank is one of the best minds I have come across during my time in Digital design field. He is a humble and an easy person to talk to or to take your problems to him - he can solve anything. And that is his core strength, give him any problem and he'll solve it. During the time I worked with him, he was very conscientious and dedication to his work. He took the effort to improve the design process, such as creating better wireframes, handling everything about research, making heat maps or empathy maps and many more items. He is a good communicator and meshed well with a variety of in-house team members. He always had a positive attitude and desire to produce quality work that served him well.

I continued my work on Search at Flipkart, as I really love the ever-evolving problem space. While I enjoyed working on a system-level with Search, I also wanted to take care of the itch to do something visually exciting. Thankfully, I was able to work on the first interactive video-based game for Flipkart. More details below. Some of the notable projects that I worked on during this time were+ Search Widgets Framework: A framework to govern the widgets on the search results page, highlighting the configurable elements of each component, allowing for faster turnaround time in the development of new widgets.+ Search Results Page Framework: A framework to enable a richer approach to think about the search result page that can cater to our users on the basis of their intents. The framework grew to have a lot of smaller frameworks within it.+ Auto Suggest Revamp: Revamping the entire auto-complete/suggest experience for Flipkart to enhance our users' search journeys.Apart from Search, I also worked on a few projects on other charters+ Kya Bolti Public?: Enabling Flipkart Videos to find its unique offering, interactive game shows, a first of many for Flipkart to enhance engagement with our users via Videos. These designs also found usage in a few other interactive game shows by Flipkart such as "Fake or Not" and "Powerplay with Champions".+ Trade-in: Enabling our users to sell their old mobile phones, furniture, and appliances to Flipkart. My interest in the consumer product space brought me to Flipkart, one of the biggest digital consumer products in India. During my time here I primarily owned and led the designs for the Search feature on Flipkart. Search as a feature encompasses the search box on the homepage, auto-complete, and the search results page as well. With time, I found Search to be extremely complex and also intriguing.I worked on a bunch of great projects to enhance the Search experience on Flipkart, some of which are mentioned below+ Query Resolution: A framework aimed at bridging the gap between the users and the system in case of ambiguous queries and cases when the system is unsure of the accurate response for a query.+ Search Snippets: A framework to govern the information showcased to the users for various categories and cases.+ Travel Search: As Flipkart grew beyond e-commerce, this was first in the line of universal search problems at Flipkart where we proposed a framework to handle travel-related queries and establish a schema for universal search results. Microsoft Teams gave me the chance to work on various features. Most importantly, it gave me the opportunity to design for global audiences and deal with the challenges that come along with it, with the utmost priority given to accessibility. My time at Microsoft was a great learning experience, not just professionally but also personally. It didn't just educate me on how such a huge organization manages their work, it also gave me great insight into various processes and why they matter in order to run things smoothly. My responsibilities here were • Gathering requirements for a feature area along with the Program Managers • Brainstorming/Ideating on these features along with the design team and the PMs • Converting those ideas into user stories, user flows, and then low/high fidelity mockups • Catering to any motion design needs for my feature or any other feature handled by our team It was undoubtedly one of the best jobs I've ever had. Thank you, Microsoft. Show less

My time with Lollypop has provided me with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects spanning across several industries. Through the projects I have worked on at Lollypop, I have been able to design for various types of users, understand their context, and gain exposure to different types of businesses as well.My responsibilities here were• Gathering product/design requirements from the client via multiple workshops with clients and stakeholders• Research on the target users to gain an understanding of their context, need of the product and pain points of the users• Analysing the insights gained via the research and documenting it in the form of User Persona, Empathy Map & User Journey• Coming up with solutions in the form of User Flows, Information Architecture, Wireframes, Prototypes and iterating depending on usability testing and client feedback• Coordinating with a team of project managers, visual designers, illustrators, and developers to deliver the final designs Show less

At Incture I worked on their in-house product called Cherrywork. Cherrywork is an app aiming at mobilizing some of the popular ERP solutions in the enterprise world. It is a platform for multiple ERP mobile solutions in one app. Working as the UX/UI Designer for the product I got a chance to design several enterprise applications. Since Cherrywork's main focus is mobile, this has given me a good opportunity to design for android, iOS, and web (responsive & adaptive) and understand the interaction patterns & user behavior patterns for these platforms.
