• Worked with dispatching superintendent to fulfill all manpower requests for 50+ jobs on a daily basis• Contacted union halls for additional manpower as necessary.• Coordinated background checks and drug screenings per specific jobsite requirements.• Coordinated 7:00am interviews with superintendents for incoming electricians from the union halls.• Gathered I-9 required paperwork from incoming union new hires.• Insured all new hire paperwork was properly filled out.• Routed new hires to their respective jobsites, providing them with maps, contact names and phone numbers.• Created and maintained personnel files for all union employees.• Updated payroll systems with all manpower moves recorded in the dispatch book and new hire binder, which allowed routing of weekly payroll to operate more efficiently.• Routed payroll to 500+ electricians on a weekly basis.• Took over for Production Manager for four months, during which I saw that all manpower requests were met, all training classes were prepped, the VP of Production was supported, department PO’s were written, superintendent credit cards were reconciled, and the Production Administrative team was running efficiently.• Prepared training materials in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio on a weekly basis for electrician training classes.• Coordinated food, drinks, and room reservations for weekly training classes.• Provided general administrative support to seven Superintendents and the VP of Production.• As a result of my efforts, jobsites were kept staffed as necessary which kept 50+ jobs on schedule, ultimately increasing overall profit for the company. Also I helped insure union employees were paid correctly and on time, resulting in less loss of productivity on jobsites and for payroll delivery drivers.
