Josh is an excellent team player with great attention to detail and quality. I enjoyed working with him on the Tiger Team at Global Payments and found him to be approachable, flexible, knowledgable and hard working. Josh stood out as a developer focused on delivering the project; he cleaned up faulty code and delivered builds that were solid; he did not have any hang ups about using a backlog, providing estimates, planning future work and sharing updates in group meetings. I would gladly work with Josh again!

I worked with Josh at Global Payments and it was a pleasure. Everyone expects a software engineer to be smart, and Josh is certainly smart. What sets him apart is something truly special among developers—Josh is extraordinarily conscientious. Whatever we were doing, I knew Josh could not stand to write or deliver bad or broken code. I was supposed to be the team lead, supposed to set an example, but I know Josh fixed my mistakes on several occasions. I really appreciated the opportunity to work together.

Although, I've been in the restaurant industry for most of my life, I've always had a keen interest and passion for web and software development. General Assembly has given me the opportunity to hone those skills and add new tools to my tool belt; more importantly, they've taught me how to learn and adapt in a challenging and dynamic environment. They demonstrate that we excel when we are outside of our comfort zone and truly challenged to produce exceptional results. Working for The Neighborhood Dining Group gave me the opportunity to utilize the leadership and management skills acquired through a lifetime in the restaurant industry. Not only was I able to exercise my creativity, I was able to focus on the logistics of operating a multi-million dollar operation while being surrounded by top-tier talent. During my time at Minero, I brought our food cost from about 43% down to a consistent 31% or lower while exceeding all expectations in every cost category… Show more Working for The Neighborhood Dining Group gave me the opportunity to utilize the leadership and management skills acquired through a lifetime in the restaurant industry.
