Rana was one of my very good students in a logic and critical thinking course we did together at Henry Ford Community College in the Winter of 2015 when I was helping out the Dept. The structure of the course required mastering certain essential principles of logic early on and then applying them to analyses of documentaries exploring issues of justice, gender, imperialism, racism, and domestic and foreign policy. This is what I remember about our work together in the class. We have since stayed in touch and become good friends. Often, she raised questions both about the meaning of examples and how logic principles apply to certain cases and not others. And she did that in ways that were so collegial, inviting her colleagues to wonder aloud with her about the questions she was posing. Her reasoning was always so good. She assured me that this course in logic and critical thinking was her first. Her written work was always a pleasure to read and I must have asked her several times if I could make a copy of various papers she turned in - copies that I would use as models for future classes. In small groups Rana was focused on the work the group had before them and helped see things to completion. She was so organised and helpful to her small group. Rana has this outstanding quality of emotional calm when raising trouble in all the best ways we want our students to do. It's so collegial, so inviting. Together with other students, she helped me create the environment necessary for making the class safe, both emotionally and intellectually, so that students could take risks in order to grow. Such an environment is one of my highest priorities as a teacher. I have no doubt that Rana is critically important in working to establish such an environment at any workplace fortunate enough to have her on staff. mark wenzel Philosophy Dept Wayne State University

Rana is a spectacular asset to any communications, marketing, or public relations team. She has the skills of cultural awareness, event execution/planning, and digital marketing that differentiates her from the crowd. In various group marketing calls, her ideas were often praised and used as a model for other mall properties to follow. Any organization would excel in having her a part of their team. Rana has my highest recommendation.
