Jason Y. Siu

Thanik and I worked together on a daily basis for 4 years as Mechanical Design Engineers on the Airbus A380 Cabin Stairs and Crew Rests programs. He is incredibly smart, hard-working, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to work with. His designs and design changes are always well thought-out, taking into account manufacturing, quality, and schedule considerations. When engineering issues arose from the production floor or customer site, I knew I could count on his practical and timely recommendations. Thanik demonstrates a commitment to learning and improving that I greatly admire. During a team kaizen project, he was dedicated to not only learning as much as possible about continuous improvement philosophies, but also addressing the problem at hand: reducing the number of customer-identified design errors. His contributions in gathering facts/data, root cause analysis, and identifying countermeasures were critical to successfully implementing a more comprehensive engineering design review process across our program. I highly recommend Thanik if you're looking for a bright, flexible, and pragmatic engineer who's a team player and approaches problems in a logical, systematic manner.

Thanik and I were in senior design class together at UCLA. He was extremely great to work with, always very responsible, and always on top of everything. He's a team player and a team leader. Having him as the group lead, we completed our senior project early, and we received compliments from professor for our project design. His great work ethics and outstanding engineering skills makes him a great candidate for any company.
