On request of the Core Infrastructure BeLux manager and as a result of employee and client dissatisfaction with the existing organization's performance, I became responsible for the combined Technical Services/Infrastructure Architects team. Restructured the organization and appointed a second line management team to ensure the EDS fundamentals (people, financials, and service excellence) were back on track. Span of control covers 140 employees, a yearly budget of $25M and services which include 2nd and 3rd line systems and desktop management as well as field services for various flavours of distributed systems (Novell, NT/Win2K, UNIX), for various accounts such as Coca Cola, Huntsman, SKF, Ericsson, DLL, Ernst & Young and others. Additional responsibilities include Technical Architecture and Project Management activities in supporting sales leads and new business integration projects. The department’s fiscal year 2000 was closed with a unit contribution of –$300K, 2001 was closed with a unit contribution +$320K.

Program Manager for the roll-out of the new EDS TI service “EDS NetConnect” in EMEA (02/9808/98). TI co-ordinator for the Program Office of the Infrastructure Consolidation program, preparing the integration of the GME SBU’s Service Delivery organisation in TI (08/98-12/98). April 1997 - December 1997 Service Architect in the Technical Infrastructure Portfolio Management team (EMEA). Assisted in the EMEA Service Assessment Project, gathering organisational and service-related information from the different regions, and consolidating this into a findings/recommendations report for the TI Euro board. Assisted in the global Future By Design (EDS redesign) project, redesigning Technical Infrastructure, working on different streams.
