Project Manager
-
Jan 2015 - Jul 2016
Project management at Rohner was a challenging, fast-paced role coordinating all aspects of industrial equipment installation projects including design, site preparation, scheduling, permitting, installation, and commissioning of custom finishing systems. I was responsible for managing resources to achieve best results in a schedule with up to (12) projects in process. An important focus of the role was to supervise teams of up to (3) install technicians, often at a distance through phone conversations and email. I was the primary point of contact for customer relations from sales hand-off through project completion and played a significant role in ensuring customer satisfaction. I prepared, submitted, and coordinated all required project documents to acquire building, mechanical, and tenant improvement permits from the local jurisdiction. I was often also involved in the fire suppression, electrical, plumbing, and air quality permit processes as required. Aside from the duties of project manager, I was often involved in decision making processes with members of the design department. I leveraged my mechanical engineering background and field install perspective to provide insight on technical mechanical questions, pneumatic controls, heat transfer, and system functionality.
