I’ve worked Julia for 18 months on a Digital Transformation Programme during which, she’s been an outstanding programme manager. Julia’s comfortable with ambiguity, extremely resilient and very adept at overcoming adversity. With any large programmes, come challenges. Julia’s helped my workstream to overcome these through influencing, skilled negotiation and consequence management. Her programme management skills are impressive – she understands the bigger picture and help others to see it too. A key strength of Julia’s is her ability to pull together information from multiple sources and workstreams to help her stakeholders understand impacts and unintended consequences. This enabled me to make good decisions based on logic and taking into account any risks. She’s seamlessly managed multiple strands of the programme so that it remains on track and her meticulous action and decision logging have saved us all a lot of time and effort. Julia manages people extremely well – both peers and upwards. She encourages a sense of urgency and ownership of action in others so that deadlines are met with quality work. No matter the pressures of the programme, she remains calm, thoughtful and proactive and a role model for how programme management should be done.

From 2011-2019 while I was a church leader at St Peters Halliwell; Julia was responsible for running and leading the youth band. During this period Julia showed exceptional skills in mentoring and developing these young people aged 14-18 in using their musical gifts. Julia showed great commitment to the young people in leading this group. Julia is gifted at building a rapport with young people and very quickly earns their respect. Julia's strong faith inspired the young people in their own faith and expression of their faith through music. I strongly recommend Julia as someone who has many gifts to offer in the Christian Sector.
