I had the pleasure of working with Raj at Essilor for over eight years. Raj was part of the sales team in the position of Business Development Manager and at the time I was the Commercial Director overseeing the Sales function. Raj is a highly competitive individual who has a good balance of individual drive to succeed coupled with being a team player - always looking to help and support others. Raj takes a complete customer focus approach, always looking to ensure his clients receive exceptional service and support. This was evident in his partner customer retention and acquisition performances. Over time Raj has built a good understanding of taking a strategy and understanding how best to implement it across his area of responsibility to maximise the output for both the customer and the business. Whilst working together I noticed Raj would bring his previous working experiences; successes and challenges into customer conversations to help relate, empathise and explore solutions.
