  I am currently a part of the Osher Online pilot program by the National Resource Center for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Northwestern University. I play an important role in ensuring members are able to successfully connect and learn every week by giving them technical support as they need it. Additionally, I facilitate a comfortable learning environment by assisting instructors however they may need. This would include updating the class's website and maintaining weekly communications. I also regularly flex my role to suit the team's needs. I notably assisted in the hiring process by marketing open positions to undergraduate students. Show less

  As a research assistant, I coordinated with a five-member research group to collaborate on individual projects by maintaining weekly communication with each member to stay current on projects. To stay on track with five different project timelines, I developed and maintained a weekly personal schedule. Part of my work included editing three unpublished APA-style research manuscripts to ensure clarity for the general population. I also analyzed descriptive data in R Studio to determine quantitative trends. I created and delivered a 5-minute presentation synthesizing a year’s worth of research work as well. In addition, I had the opportunity to create a personal research project. I developed a research grant proposal to secure $4,000 for research on interracial interactions in student-teacher dynamics.
