I have known Tom during my years at MapInfo (PBBI). He has a proven track record with a breadth of knowledge. Tom has had many different roles from uber developer to architectural. It's a rarity to know someone who is technical proficient and has a natural ability to communicate and teach others. Anyone familiar with MapInfo's product line would naturally know Tom since he is a face the customer sees when technical (and/or site visits) issues need to be solved. His curiosity and drive for newer technology is an asset for any organization.

Tom is bright, meticulous, personable and above all passionate about his work. Tom knows his product inside and out. He not only knows how to use the product, he makes other people want to use, and therefore buy, it. I've never seen a better product evangelist than Tom, and recommend him very, very highly.
