His appetite for learning is unrivalled, he loves to research anything and everything new, and he always puts in 150% of his energy into any given task. Working with him at Arup was a great privilege, I was constantly amazed at his ingenuity and creativity, which is what makes him a great civil/structural engineer. I still recall several times when I reviewed projects I assigned to him and I murmured to myself, 'I couldn't have done this any better', and he was just a graduate engineer!
