Sabrina always cares for her team, tuning into how they are and making the time to check in and listen to them. She easily identifies areas for improvement in workflow and brings forward solutions which directly tackle issues. It was a pleasure to work with her.

I worked with Sabrina last year to achieve a 4 in psychology. I achieved a five alongside her support. I saw her once a week and only had three months for the first exam and 4 for the second. A huge task for anyone considering I had no experience with psychology. My success was because it was not for her can-do attitude and my learn-from-failure attitude. She would always place fair and reasonable expectations for each lesson. Each week was an improvement from the last, due to her guidance. I went from a basic understanding of the term "systematic sampling" and "extraneous variable" to studying Carol Dweck's book. She always encouraged me when placing expectations when my confidence wasn't high. I praise her because she is among two teachers that truly care about their students' success. The other is Jo Backstrom. Both offered help and wisdom after they no longer had to prolong their involvement with me. She checked up on me on the results and was happier than me with the results. (she was honestly curious about my pessimism) She was reliable and had clear communication. She would set our time and video calls the week before; therefore, we always stayed within our schedules. Furthermore, she gave me advance notice of changes in days to better prepare our lessons. She was a pinnacle point in my change of mindset. She helped me at an important time and did not fail me. I recommend Sabrina to anyone that struggles with conventional education as she will adapt to your personality. She accommodated my personality which can be overwhelming. Her empathy is a trait I attribute to her way of teaching neurodivergent students. She deserves to be treated gem tutor due to her professional and empathetic outlook on teaching. Truthfully, she is an example of what a

Sabrina is a strong and insightful thought leader in the field of preventing school exclusion and in the promotion of empowerment of the youth. Sabrina is diligent and attentive in developing her team and provides a supportive learning environment. I enjoyed working alongside Sabrina at SIWYC, and I was able to develop and gain a deeper understanding of the non-profit sector from Sabrina's expertise.

I deliver learning programmes to primary and secondary schools. The programmes use my lived experience and knowledge of how to set up a social enterprise. By the end of the programme the students set up a social enterprise which tackles a social cause that they care about. I deliver learning programmes to primary and secondary schools. I tutor psychology, English literature, religious studies and ethics and philosophy. My approach to tuition encompasses a range of strategies, but above all I aim to provide a tailored programme that is best suited to each child's individual needs. I always teach in a way that enables the tutee to learn in a fun and interactive manner, whilst also stimulating their mind and making sure they achieve their potential. I provide assistance across the full spectrum of age and ability, from those facing particular challenges with their learning to assisting gifted students seeking to extend their studies. Show less
