Jan 2006 - Apr 2010
Worked on- and off-site at Microsoft with multiple teams.Created hundreds of icons using pre-existing elements and by creating new elements. Ensured that pre-existing elements were used in the correct context to help maintain consistency across all Vista icons.Produced thousands of icons for Microsoft teams. Due to the high quality of my work and attention to detail, I was asked to train all icon production artists and oversee their early work.Localized thousands of images into multiple languages, and became the go-to person for branding images.Wrote documentation on icon creation and created an organizational structure for a catalog of branding graphics and legacy icons.

Communicated with clients to consistently make their ideas a reality within the fast-paced environment of our design firm, and ensuring the timely delivery of all projects.Integral member of team that developed several CD-ROMs for clients such as IBM, Visa, Otis Elevator, and A&E and the History Channel. Most often assigned to company’s highest profile clients for consistency in achieving and surpassing the clients’ goals and ideas. Being detail-oriented ensured a high quality end product without letting errors slip through.Handpicked to redesign the homepage and navigation of motown40.com, our highest-profile project at the time. The redesign was so well received that I was consequently put in charge of monthly updates to the site. This included creating monthly “featured artist” sections with researched essays, discographies, quizzes, flash animations, and images personally selected from the Motown photo archives.Created a dynamic web site for Lugz – a hip, urban shoe company based in NYC. Design was geared towards creating a web site that resonated with their ad campaigns, and would be easy to update with a new design 3 times a year.(Note: KathodeRay Media and DME Interactive Holdings merged in 1999)
