Operations Forman, ACT, Aqaba Container Terminal, Nov. 2015 to present.My duties include but not limited to:• Assist in-planning the sequence of loading and unloading cargo from ships placing it in the port area. • Assist in resource planning and deploy manpower for each shift, allocate resources to carry out vessel loading and unloading plan, and deploy staff to match operational demands.• Monitor vessel arrival and discharge to coordinate cargo loading and unloading, take charge of lashing operations that secure cargo on vessels and supervising it. • Berthing and unberthing vessels. • Carrying out wharf operations; like locking and unlocking containers. • Assisting with water bunkering operations, • Familiar in using N4 systems and planning tools to aid planning. • Resolve day-to-day issues and propose improvements to workflow to enhance productivity and efficiency in port operations. • Conduct audits on compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.• Facilitate communication between the executive and working staff.• Perform daily planning on resource allocation (berths, yard and stowage planning).• Recommend initiatives to enhance vessel operations and productivity.• Propose workflow improvements to improve efficiency.• Dealing with Out Of Gage cargo (OOG) Show less
