  All started from blog called Herkkukakku 2009 and after realizing there was market for best spoke cakes, Marjon Herkkukakku was founded in July 2012. Business started from home kitchen and 2015 bakery was opened to Pori/Finland. Marjon Herkkukakku created cakes full-time in 2013-2020. Increasing interest for cake-decorating in Finland started 2015 and Kakkukurssikiertue was created. With Kakkukurssikiertue i traveled around Finland from Helsinki to Rovaniemi organizing different classes. Main focus was on wired sugar flowers and secondary fondant covering and butter cream piping techniques.
