  I worked as part of a team developing software in Delphi and SQL Server for industrial weighing machines. The work is absorbing and enjoyable and I work with a lovely bunch of people. I especially like being constantly challenged; being asked to solve new problems all the time even in a language I've never used before - C#.   A supplier of office and computer supplies using a unique imprest supply model, I designed and developed the bespoke back office software to run the business. I was also responsible for all internal IT and communications. As well as IT responsibilities I was part of the management team and performed duties in many departments including dealing with any non-routine sales and technical queries from clients, sourcing equipment and services, facilities management and occasionally providing cover in the warehouse. Recently organised relocation of office and warehouse. As a side project I have been developing decision making software for some time.
