  As a Sales Trainee, I assist in back-end & administrative matters. This includes drafting companies’ contracts, proposals, corporate rate letters and many more. Aside from corporate matters, I have also assisted the Weddings department by creating couples’ menus weekly, placing their wedding orders and coordinating wedding shows. One massive takeaway from this internship is the importance of building positive relationships and to never burn bridges. As the saying goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Being in the Sales department required me to liaise with every department in the hotel, such as Front Office, Reservations, Banquet, Security and many more.
