LatAm Biz Entrepreneurship in Chile Programme
-
Oct 2019 - Oct 2019
Through my participation in the Young Enterprise Entrepreneurship in Action 2019 event, I was selected to be one of eight students to go on an all expenses paid trip to Chile, in conjugation with the Latin America Center of Asia-Pacific Excellence (LatAm CAPE) and Young Enterprise NZ. This was an absolutely incredible experience that taught me a lot about business and international trade, as well as innovation in both start-ups and established companies. On top of this, we also learnt plenty about the Chilean culture and Spanish language. If you are interested in finding out more about this, I’d suggest reading my more in depth reflection at the link attached. Show less

Entrepreneurs In Action Participant (EIA 2019)
-
Jun 2019 - Jun 2019
Took part in Entrepreneurs in Action 2019, a four day event run by Young Enterprise in which only 80 individually selected students from around the country compete in two intensive challenges of 12 and 36 hours, respectively. As part of Team BP for the EIA weekend, we worked on these challenges to provide innovative business solutions to the given problems. From this, I was lucky enough to be handpicked for an all expenses paid trip to Chile, in October 2019.
