Activities and Responsibilities included production of drawings during all stages of the design phase (site and size, schematic design, design development, construction documents) and leading the coordination efforts for multiple teams (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Equipment Vendor’s, Designer’s) on tenant finish out documents for medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers, and cancer centers. Responsibilities also included implementing AutoCAD Architecture from ArrisCAD. During this transition I played a key role in the customization of all company standards (healthcare), drawing automation, process improvement, training, hardware selection and integration for all teams in the development office. Our efforts during this transition from 2D drafting to 3D design yielded approximately a 35% increase in productivity from our former processes and lowered our “Request for Information (RFI)” and construction change orders by more than 80% on some projects.
