Gateway is a non-profit providing multifaceted wellness programs for underserved children and youth. Our innovative Whole Hearts, Minds, and Bodies program (a system of nature-based therapeutic treatment and mentorship designed for youth challenged by Adverse Childhood Experiences, emotional disturbance and behavioral disorders) is the first eco-therapy program to receive certification as a Medi-Cal provider and to establish full-service partner contracts with county Behavioral Health Departments.

As a founding member, I focused on risk management, safety, and technical direction - in addition to artistic performance. The first full service indoor climbing gym in the world, CITYROCK catalyzed the robust growth of indoor climbing and offered innovative programs for everyone—from children to world-class experts. Focusing on education, safety and quality of experience, we developed the most comprehensive risk management plan for artificial wall climbing to date. We successfully transferred ownership of CITYROCK in 1997.
