Helping people to keep up with the fast pas at wich Information Technology evolves. Remarks like "ah now I get IT" make my day. Technisch Nederlands geven voor anderstaligen is in tijden van Corona een hele uitdaging. Maar met trots kan ik melden dat 75% van mijn studenten slaagden voor het certificaat heftruckchauffeur. Ik zet graag handen en voeten in om informatie over te dragen en coach graag daar waar dat extra beetje motivatie of geloof in eigen kunnen ontbreekt. Vooruitgang zien is een fijne beloning. After developing a cool android app as a trainee, I see even better the vast possibilities of this mobile world. While searching for a new employer I am diving deeper into the developer tools needed for this. Soon MVC, Android, REST maybe iOS and others will loose their secrets. Currently exploring Neo4J and attended the AWSome days of Amazon in Mechelen. The path for me to create stunning apps will be evened and nice things lie ahead of me. Will our roads cross? I was responsible for optimising the usage of the rough diamond. Proprietary software and machines were used to calculate the potential volume and value of the potentially polished diamond. At Vanberlo I was part of the multi media team. My job cosisted out of many things: webprogramming, mostly 3D drawing and at that time the programming of CD-Roms. CD-What?... yes indeed technology from a long time ago. However it still is of great use to me having lived/worked in an era where bandwidth was narrow. The smaller things are the faster they move around. At Vanberlo I was part of the multi media team.
