Maryblessing has been a part of the CHAOSS community for almost a year, and in that time, she has spent many hours helping welcome newcomers to the community, improving documentation, and attending, participating in, and facilitating meetings. As a result, she was chosen to lead our new Tour Guides program to improve our newcomer experience and onboarding potential contributors to the CHAOSS project. Maryblessing is a fantastic communicator and embodies the values of empathy and welcomingness in every interaction. She is dependable and has worked very hard to make the CHAOSS community better. We are incredibly thankful for her contributions and experience!

Maryblessing and I met while working on the CHAOSS open-source community metrics project. I was instantly impressed by Maryblessing's focus on experimentation, actions with the She Code Africa project, and her contributions to the CHAOSS project's Africa chapter. She's almost tireless! Seeing her commitment, I asked her to do a talk for me at the Community Managers (un)Conference back in March, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park! I strongly recommend working with her in any metric or public speaking capacity! Her talk about failures in experimentation being critical to innovation was really inspiring! You can see her talk on our YouTube channel, and we are PROUD to feature her! https://youtu.be/F_lhsm_HyYc
